“Screw Loose” is an exciting 72m, four-pitch climb (5a–6a+) with breathtaking views across Lan Ha Bay. Located at Tiger Beach, 30 minutes by boat from Cat Ba, the route starts inside a cave before leading through a narrow exit via a long, thin stalactite—then suddenly opens onto a stunning panorama of Tiger Beach’s golden shoreline and the vast turquoise ocean. Depending on the tide, you may even find yourself belaying directly from the boat. An epic adventure and a must-do in Cat Ba!
